Privacy Policy
In connection with its business activity, Kopeć Zaborowski Adwokaci i Radcowie Prawni spółka partnerska [professional partnership], with its registered office in Warsaw (00-681), at ul. Hoża 59a apt. 1b, collects and processes personal data in accordance with the relevant legislation, including in particular the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter: “GDPR”), and the data processing rules provided for therein.
- The controller of personal data is Kopec & Zaborowski Law Firm (Kopeć Zaborowski Adwokaci i Radcowie Prawni spółka partnerska – “KKZ”), which carries out the processing of personal data in accordance with the generally applicable laws and regulations, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR”) and the Polish Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018.

- KKZ carries out the processing of personal data of clients and persons indicated by clients as contacts to the extent necessary to provide legal services, persons who apply for work, register as recipients of newsletters on the blogs https://managerwspolce.pl/ and https://jakzwolnicpracownika.pl/, as well as employees, associates and contractors.
- KKZ has public profiles on social media sites, that is on Facebook and LinkedIn, as well as on YouTube. Accordingly, it processes the data left by the visitors to these profiles (comments, likes, online identifiers, among others). Personal data of such visitors are processed:
- in order to allow them to be active on the profiles,
- in order to run the profiles effectively, by presenting the users of the portals with information about the initiatives and other activities of KKZ and in connection with promoting a variety of events, services and products,
- for statistical and analytical purposes,
- they may also be processed for the exercise or defence of legal claims,
The above information does not apply to the processing of personal data by site administrators (Facebook and LinkedIn).
- The processing of personal data is carried out in order to perform agreements with clients, contractors, employees or associates and, upon prior consent, for the purposes of recruitment processes and for the purposes of distribution of newsletters pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) and (f) (“GDPR”).
- KKZ may transfer personal data to entities that support KKZ to accomplish the above objectives, including entities that maintain computer and telecommunication infrastructure.
- Personal data are provided freely, however in some cases refusal to provide them may make it impossible to sign an agreement with KKZ, to perform some provisions of an existing agreement or to establish contact.
- Data subjects have the right:
- of information,
- of access to data,
- to rectification or completion of data,
- to erasure,
- to restriction of processing,
- to object to the processing on the basis of a legitimate interest,
- to data portability, and
- to lodge a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa).
- Unless it is required to perform an agreement for which KKZ has obtained personal data, KKZ will not transfer any personal data to any countries outside the European Economic Area.
- KKZ keeps personal data for as long as it is justified to perform a contract or required by the law.
- KKZ does not perform automated decision-making, including profiling, on the basis of any received personal data.
- In the event this Privacy Policy is amended, this document will be modified as appropriate.
